I never knew it could be this good. We had a booth with a mountain view painted on the wood around us. Real mountains, real lake. Pine trees, I never believed. Look at the detail. What mossy green, what black black. I am pregnant with them, colors. I am not pregnant. You are beautiful. Look at the detail. There is a rock in the distance. There is a box with napkins on the table. I want to write every poem I’ve ever written on them and name each one after you.
