Jaya Alagar is a high school photographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is extremely excited to have Jet Fuel Review publish three monochrome photographs from her series, “Confined,” which depicts raw human emotion from the perspective of a teenage girl. The simplicity of her photographs offers her audience a chance at self-reflection and an opportunity to explore society’s impact on their identities. When not photographing portraits, Jaya loves writing, studying history, and playing with her cats.
