Laurinda Lind

Network

I sieved a guiltfish
out of my bloodstream

last night, itchy bones,
jelly brain, juicy thief

it was set to spawn
microscopic millions.

No matter. All year
I’ll spear each one

drag it to air so I can
              cure it dry against

a saner seine,
a daylight.
